I just got back from my caucus here in Camas (just east of Vancouver in SW Washington). Our site had 10 separate precincts. The final vote for my precinct was Bernie 66, Hillary 18, undecided 1. Delegates awarded were Bernie 5 and Hillary 1. I talked to someone upon leaving that said their precinct delegate count was Bernie 3 and Hillary 1. So far, so good.

(4,554 posts)I vote in a closed primary in April. I live in a purplish area and since my polling station is really small, I doubt I will feel any co-Bern. But, at least I can vote for him and make my statement!!
Enjoy your great vibes, make em last as long as you can!!

(23,867 posts)So this is great news!
My friend Matthew is one of those geniuses who can write letters to the repub supervisors and do it so well they actually can see themselves. Maybe he made an impact.
I didn't think we could make Shill non-viable. But still, not too shabby. Yay.

(9,313 posts)... There were a far greater number of "surrogate affidavits" filed this year. I believe npr reported a few hundred in 2008 compared to 32,000 this year. (I've been unable to confirm the number though, I'm not 100% confident, but I think that's what they said. )
Anyway, just a caveat. I suspect the affidavits could favor Hillary. (Perhaps more older people with health problems, etc.)
I'm cautiously optimistic for Bernie. At the caucus our precinct split 58 ballots for Clinton, 76 for Bernie. Glad to hear others reporting bigger margins for Bernie!

(19,818 posts)he did win but only by 2 "undecideds" changing their votes late .Unfortunately 2 late arrivals for HRC were not allowed to vote because they came in after the 11 am cutoff. However the place looked like Costco a few days before Christmas, so packed it began to get unbearably warm.
