2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumSurprised..CNN has been having very good live coverage of WA
today. They are going live inside the caucuses and showing voters speaking to each other. On the other hand, every time I switched to MSNBC it was terror or trump.

(14,587 posts)lately when I want election news, I find myself going to CNN. Comcast has totally ruined MSNBC with its pro-TPP, anti-Bernie message.

(24,411 posts)John King just explained the race in hard-delegate counts; as well as super delegate counts.
King said that an impressive Bernie win in WA could help fuel momentum going into Wisconsin, and that subsequent wins could cause the super delegates to switch from Hillary to Bernie.
He said, "Hey, that's politics."
It's just nice to hear BOTH sides for a change--and cogent explanations that explain hard delegates and super delegates. King noted that super delegates can change their mind at any time during the primary process.
I would give their overall coverage a B+ throughout this election season. I don't even turn on MSNBC. Haven't watched it for more than a year. I do enjoy Bloomberg television. Halperin and Heileman's "With All Due Respect" has offered some of the best coverage this season.

(9,522 posts)He said Bernie has the best policies, he could still win, wuper delegates could flip just like 2008. He was great. After they went back to headquarters, Jake Tapper said, "It's surprising how much these voters know, how sophisticated they are."
They think we are idiots out here in tv-land. It surprises them that we are not.
