In any war we get into, soldiers of color will die in disproportionately high numbers...

...compared to their share of the population.

Therefore, it is always the most antiracist choice to support the candidate least likely to get us into war.

Because manufacturing in major American cities is always the first casualty of trade agreements.

African Americans were 9.49% of the deaths and are 12.6% of the population. Hispanics were 10.72% of the deaths and are 15% of the population. Non-hispanic whites were 74.75% of the deaths and are 72.4% of the population.

This is probably related to the fact that the middle class and rich are more likely to join the military than the poor.

so not a huge difference. Whites still make up 70% of the military.

Something that has to be considered is the type of jobs blacks are doing in the military.

About half of African-American soldiers in 2009 were choosing, or being chosen for, service support jobs, such as cooks or maintenance workers. Only 24% served in combat arms, which is traditionally associated with greater advancement through the ranks[and greater risk of combat].

The odds of being killed in combat are much greater for those in the combat arms. So it is not as straight forward as you make it out to be.

So they are very heavily represented among the staff NCOs.
