The article doesn't say what specific question was asked but it seems from the title of the info graphic that the poll asked about enthusiasm for the voting process, not about the candidate. And it doesn't surprise me, given the large amount of Sanders' supporters who were (and worry about being) disenfranchised, that his numbers would be lower.
