It's evidence that all Bernie supporters are all horrible, rude drivers.
It might have even been Bernie behind the wheel....I'm not sure. But let's add that as a possibility. Sounds good.
But in any case it shows what a low character Bernie is. It is indicative of how Bernie's campaign promises are all lies.
Call David Brock and put it out there! "Berniebros are all rude drivers!"....or better yet "I think Bernie Sanders cut me off in traffic today."
Full disclosure. I also have a Bernie sticker on my car.

(20,709 posts)Since my side has the facts, we don't need to pretend that accountants are "economists" in order to sell fraudulent economic projections.

(26,549 posts)Krugman has spent a very long time saying that economists need to actually turn back to models for analysis, and not just cite the "very serious people" who keep getting everything wrong by blindly reciting what "everyone knows"
Until it came time to analyze Sanders's proposals.
Then Krugman cited very serious people who were blindly reciting what "everyone knows".

(20,709 posts)But anyone remotely familiar with macroeconomic modeling could tell simply from the 5.3% 10-year growth number that it was a fantasy -- that's higher than any 10-year period since WW2, and now we're facing more demographic headwinds.

(26,549 posts)"Everyone knows".
What would likely happen is some other factor would retard growth after a while. But you have to have a model to identify what that factor is. If you actually follow what Krugman preaches, you can't just say "it can't happen". You have to show how it can't happen.
Krugman, as well as Romer and Romer, failed to do so.
DanTex
(20,709 posts)The intuition of Krugman and everyone else outside the Bernie bubble who saw 5.3% and laughed at it was validated by the detailed analysis of Romer and Romer.
But, truth be told, when you see something as preposterous as what Bernie was trying to peddle, it's not hard to figure out that the numbers aren't going to add up.

(11,945 posts)would be an enthusiastic backer of Bernie Sanders. They are so eye-to-eye on poverty, materialism, income inequality, global hegemony, the value of ALL human beings. I am sure the Pope, when he reads the news, is hoping -- maybe even praying -- for Bernie Sanders to win the presidency of the most powerful country in the world.
I just know it.
But thanks for the image of the popemobile zooming past Armstead, white robes a-flying in the breeze, cutting him off with a quick hail mary and going on his jolly way.
Oh, and with a Bernie bumper sticker of course.
Aerows
(39,961 posts)and that was the image that popped right into my mind. I don't think he really has a popemobile like other popes - I thought he drove some sort of older economy car (thus the remark )
I can see those robes whipping in the wind as he cuts of Armstead!
senz
(11,945 posts)Actually, he does have a popemobile; it's funny looking, tall and white, an odd shaped vehicle. (Oh, I see you found a photo of it!)
But I do like the thought of Francis driving his own older car. Before becoming Pope, he stayed in a humble apartment, drove around in an economy car, did his own grocery shopping, etc.
I'm not Catholic but I really do like this guy. It seems fortuitous that he and Bernie showed up at this time in our perilous history.

(1,052 posts)I'd do that too, if my car was fast enough to get in front of anyone.
What I need is a reverse-printed bumper sticker to put on my front bumper.
