There is not now nor has there ever been a "liberal" press or anything, for that matter.
Liberal means
open to new behavior or opinions and willing to discard traditional values.
(of education) concerned mainly with broadening a person's general knowledge and experience, rather than with technical or professional training.
synonyms: wide-ranging, broad-based, general
"a liberal education"
Now, many journalists are guilty of being open to information and broadening their minds and thoughts, yes.
So in that sense, liberal, sure.

(24,411 posts)But seriously. Aren't we off in the tall weeds here, a bit?
Hillary Clinton is being investigated by the FBI and there are 12-full time agents working on the case.
The guy who set up her email server was granted immunity; and a foreign hacker who revealed that Hillary didn't turn over all of her emails to the FBI--was extradited to the US a few weeks ago.
I think the number of FBI agents on the case is pretty much irrelevant.
But go ahead, if you want to try to spin this into some kind of happy news for Clinton, have at it.

(142 posts)We're down to just TWELVE now (after the other 135 have competently done their job). PROGRESS! Hillary's Progressive!
Did I not read earlier that the FBI has already forwarded this now to the Dept. of Justice? Would this have happened if there's no there there? Why are so many Democrats pushing for the most damaged, dishonest candidate to lead our party into the general election? Why give Cruz and Trump such dispiriting yet overwhelming ammunition? Don't we Dems want coattails AND a November win? If so, we'd best work very hard these coming weeks (WI, NY, NJ, IN, PA, CA) to make sure that Bernie is the standard bearer in this (potentially, if HE is the nominee) wave election.

(8,541 posts)By all accounts the FBI investigation phase is done.
All admit that 147 seemed high but we will definitely know more when it's over.

(36,418 posts)The 147 figure (or "about 150" was reported by multiple major media, so if this report is accurate, something has happened (or is about to). Gosh, this is like Kremlin Watching - not much real information and lots of gut intuition needed!
I've used the 150 number before as well. I does seem high but not unreasonable. Besides no one would expect that number to stay static anyway.
I have a feeling that things will be breaking one way or another very soon.

(1,000 posts)12 FBI agents investigating something for months on end probably aren't going to find anything. It takes 100 FBI agents at least in order to expect an indictment.
Hillary 2016
Because she's being investigated by FEWER agents than expected!

(31,849 posts)Granted, this is nitpicky and maybe irrelevant, but. . .
The source reported that there are 12 FBI agents working full time on the case.
Full time: How many part-time at any given time? How many part-time since the investigation began? How many regular, ongoing part-time? What the total of FTE - full time equivalent?
FBI agents: Not every FBI employee is an agent. There's supporting staff, clerks, analysts, etc. How many of those are working full time? part time? FTE?
Couple other questions, one of which I've asked before. Yes, I know there are thousands of e-mails, but should it really be taking this long? I've worked for the USG and read tons and tons of classified documents. Sure, I never had to read 33,000 at one go, but, really, this is taking too long.
Next question. I'm not saying this isn't important, but what is not being done because of this investigation? Wall street fraud (a la Billions)? Counterterrorism? Counterintelligence?
