Public Burnings Of Voter Registration Cards
Starts Saturday, November 3, 2012
at 7:00 AM for 720 minutes
Location: Your local polling place
A different election boycott group has called for public burnings of voter registration cards at local polling places everywhere on this coming election day -- Tuesday, November 6th, 2012. This is not only a great idea, but it's a great opportunity for the Vote for Nobody Campaign! Unlike other election boycott groups, we're NOT ONLY boycotting the 2012 elections but preparing to campaign against voting straight on through to 2016 minimum. That means these events will be a great chance for VFN supporters to meet new friends who might be looking for other acyivism options on November 7th. Show up with flyers and signs promoting The Vote for Nobody Campaign with our URL http://www.anti-politics.ws to help build a future without politics and the state!
NEED TO SEE THIS:
Danial Ellsberg and Noam Chomsky BOTH say "VOTE FOR OBAMA", NOT a 3rd party candidate. And certainly don't participate in such an adolescent display of ignorance and empty defiance.

(19,326 posts)but these may be more like Libertarians, given what one of their
links had to say.
On Election Day, vote for the politician who is truly on your side: Nobody
We, the Anti-Electorate, do not believe there is a need for strong leadership in government. We are not drawn to intellectual authorities and political heroes. We are not impressed with titles, ranks, and pecking orders politicians, celebrities, and gurus. We do not struggle for control of organizations, social circles, and government. We do not lobby the State for favors or permission to control those with whom we disagree. Rather, we advocate freedom. By its very nature, the State does not. Exercise your right to say No to the warfare-welfare system. Refuse to vote. Then tell your friends why.
- Wally Conger, The Anti-Electorate Manifesto
At any rate, I love that Ellsberg and Chomsky are speaking out to turn out the vote.

(938 posts)Any thinking person should realize that anarchy is just as doomed to failure as any other "pure" political system. Anarchy would become a dictatorship very quickly.

(19,326 posts)This is a noble idea, of human beings living in harmony, in a graceful
state of self-reliance and self-sufficiency, without bothersome
rules or laws, thus achieving a balanced state of freedom through
spontaneous self-organization.

(19,326 posts)They appear to have a very similar analysis and critique of the
capitalist system as M. Moore has, it's just that their tactics always
seem to suck and be counter-productive, such as this case in point.
But many of them I think also respect Ellsberg and Chomsky,

(24,135 posts)my son's white privileged college grad friends all whine and they absolutely hate The Federal Reserve and Monsanto. So pissed at the president for hiring a Monsanto guy for head of AG. and the wars!
I fear many won't vote - and they live in a swing state.
