I just voted for President Obama--first day of in person voting--Madison, WI!!

When I got there at about 8 there were about 50 people ahead of me and as we waited patiently in line it had a festive air. I can tell you here in Madison, WI (downtown) this was I would say predominately a pro-Obama crowd. As we waited another 20 or so people came joined the line. The elections officials were courteous and professional. I voted the straight Democratic ticket. Can't wait for President Obama to be re-elected and Tammy Baldwin to become our new U.S. Senator.

I was born and raised in Madison, and miss it terribly.....although I do get back at least every other month or so...love Madison. I've given money to Tammy's campaign, sure hope she can pull this baby off. Go Badgers.

I have some questions for the clerk though after what I saw with absentee ballots during the recall. Then I'll vote if she can answer them.

unless everyone in the US, except a few areas especially in Indiana, get one extra hour on my birthday! Four years ago I got a President for my birthday so I don't think it is to irrational to ask for a lousey extra hour!
