2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumI just voted for President Obama--first day of in person voting--Madison, WI!!
When I got there at about 8 there were about 50 people ahead of me and as we waited patiently in line it had a festive air. I can tell you here in Madison, WI (downtown) this was I would say predominately a pro-Obama crowd. As we waited another 20 or so people came joined the line. The elections officials were courteous and professional. I voted the straight Democratic ticket. Can't wait for President Obama to be re-elected and Tammy Baldwin to become our new U.S. Senator.

(29,721 posts)I was born and raised in Madison, and miss it terribly.....although I do get back at least every other month or so...love Madison. I've given money to Tammy's campaign, sure hope she can pull this baby off. Go Badgers.

(11,155 posts)unless everyone in the US, except a few areas especially in Indiana, get one extra hour on my birthday! Four years ago I got a President for my birthday so I don't think it is to irrational to ask for a lousey extra hour!
