2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumSanders still gets 15 delegates from Nevada to Clinton's 18, barring shenanigans in May
As the rules stand, the convention delegates are supposed to reflect the numbers from February, which means Sanders will get 15 and Clinton 18; the four thousand or so people elected today will be voting on who those delegates will be. Barring a rules fight at the state convention in May (which I wouldn't call impossible), that doesn't change, although today's result in Nevada represents a good "process" story for Sanders going forward.
Number23
(24,544 posts)It's been incredibly confusing but every counter I've seen still has her winning 20 to his 15. NY Times even took down its Nevada delegate count for a few hours and it's back up now and still says her winning 20 to his 15. http://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2016/us/elections/primary-calendar-and-results.html
And it appears that even with his flip, he's only improved what, 2 delegates?
Recursion
(56,582 posts)That said, at this point I wouldn't put it past some of his more ahem enthusiastic supporters to stage some kind of coup at the May NV convention.

(885 posts)District level delegates are chosen on May 14th at the state convention by the state delegates of each district. PLEO's and At large delegates are also chosen then by the state delegates as a whole. Look at page 38.
Nevada 2016 Delegate Selection Plan
I'm still trying to research the 4 district breakdowns to determine how the delegate count will be awarded based on current results.
