Wisconsin Voter Suppression - It's a Republican Thang!

Has Wisconsin worked hard to suppress the Democratic vote in that state? You bet it has. Their Voter ID law, which will be applied in Tuesday's primary elections was a carefully designed Koch Bros./ALEC thing. Designed to limit many groups' voting rights, including University and college students, along with low-income Wisconsinites, it's a Republican law.

Democrats fought long and hard against it. They failed to prevent it from being implemented.

Its effect on the Democratic Primaries on Tuesday will be due to Republicans, not Democrats, especially not our two Democratic presidential candidates. Neither lives in Wisconsin and had nothing to do with that state's Voter ID law.

Any attempt to blame either candidate for voter suppression is specious. It's the Republicans' fault, completely.
