Precedent binds only federal courts, not political campaigns for POTUS.
There is no precedent for every situation that arises in a political campaign. There was no precedent for grilling Hoover about the Depression or grilling LBJ about the Tet offensive or grilling Nixon about the Watergate break in.
Does "precedent" mean transcripts for $200,000 should not be requested? Especially when a candidate claims hundreds of thousands of dollars never influenced a policy decision of hers? LMAO.
