"Americans are tired of hearing about the damn emails"-Bernie Sanders

And there it is. That's the GOP fodder against Hillary Clinton, some "damn emails". Emails Americans dont give a shit about, easily defended, and likely tossed out.

On the other hand....

Here's the likely GOP fodder on Bernard Sanders that would be run on a 24/7 loop until election day. Cue the ominous voice:
1-Dodged the draft
2-Honeymooned in USSR
3-Praised Fidel Castro
4-Pledged to raise middle class taxes
5-Wrote questionable essays on rape and womens health
6-Calling himself a socialist
7-Voted against bill to rescue US economy
8-Possibly bring up vote against rescuing auto industry (an attempt to siphon off union votes)
9-30 yrs in govt with little to show
10-Collapse of an entire healthcare industry
11-An economy in chaos
12-Weak on foreign policy
13-Weak on National security

Etc
Etc
Etc

Now, if you are like me and not easily persuaded by bullshit republican narratives, congratulations. But the vast majority of America is easily terrified and not only will this be an electoral shellacking, but Democrats downticket will be forced to constantly try to defend those above items which would lead to a downticket disaster.

I have a feeling President Obama, who has 2 daughters and is pro-gun control, might not be thrilled about campaigning for a candidate who voted with the NRA, wrote questionable essays about women, and trashed many aspects of his presidency. (Chalk another one up on that list the GOP will use against him on an endless loop).

Imho, Hillary Clinton is the supremely qualified candidate with the resources and army of surrogates ready to win the White House and take back the Senate.

Just my 2 cents on the horse race. Have a great Sunday.

I'm not tired of hearing about e-mails, and you can be sure the GOP isn't either. Bill Clinton's affairs WILL come up too. I bet there are new young girls waiting for their 15 minutes waiting in the wings. Hillary's record is terrible. She supports TPP, the Iraq war, more wars, fracking, oil drilling, laundering money for their scandal called the Clinton Foundation. There's so much more to go after her on than Bernie. And besides, most of us won't support her come November. They can't cheat us and expect us to turn out for them. And I think Trump is a Clinton plot. They are friends ya know who do each other favors.

Or trade deals. Or environmental concerns? Bernie voted for more wars and war funding than any candidate running on both sides.

Meanwhile, Trump is suggesting punishing women for abortions and youre threatening to stay home? Oof.

Just not voting for her IF she's the nominee. She's not Democratic enough for me. And I think Trump is there to scare us into voting for Hillary. It makes more sense that the Clinton's and Trump team up. He's the crazy loon and she's "looks" saner. Then when she wins, The Donald gets his reward whatever that may be. It was Bill who at one time suggested The Donald run for office.

What better way to get your wife into the White House by scaring us with Trump. He's not flinging much poo at her right now. And the Clinton's can't lose a second time. This is it for her I would think.

Whitewater will be re-hashed

Her running to "strengthen" Obama's agenda will bring.out the Republicans in hordes, especially her ACA proposals
Her immigration policy will be shredded as "too weak"

You're a Hillary supporter and have a limited imagination on how she'll be attacked.

I could easily list 5 more items but typing on my phone is annoying.

He has to get 57% of reaming delegates to have enough to have majority. If he does not then it goes to a contested convention and he has no chance of winning then. You say 56% of delegate number is not possible So I assumed 57% is also?

For some reason hillary supporters think she is "immune" since she's been in the public eye for so long, and has been the object of repuke attacks for so long. I think it just drives up her negatives and gives an endless well from which they can sling mud.

I think the issue is a wash; they will spout against both regardless.

Hillary has been raked over the coals on RW radio, but she hasn't been a real target for attack since Whitewater.
She has pulled a huge amount of crap since then that will be dumped on top of the fertile field the RW attacks have prepared. Her unfavorables are high, Trumps are higher. It will be a negative race like no other and I don't think the will win because of her obvious affinity for "legal corruption". That is an issue that isn't going away and her behavior has painted a huge bullseye on her back.
