In Nevada people did not show up.
In Arizona people did show up. They were denied their right to vote.

(24,411 posts)I was a delegate for Bernie at our County Convention in Iowa.
117 of Hillary's delegates didn't bother to show up for Hillary.
Does this person who "engineered" Hillary's no-shows in Nevada have a multi-state operation that was pulled off in Iowa?

(12,081 posts)I'm wondering if that delegate will bother to show up at the county caucus.

(507 posts)The no-shows had already voted at their precinct caucuses and had pledged themselves as delegates for Clinton. But, I guess they had better things to do...

(24,411 posts)who are all most likely in Clinton's camp.
They erroneously thought that Bernie's camp would fall for the bullshit. Meanwhile, they can work the phones with their delegates to ensure that the right information is given to the Hillary supporters.
What I have seen in my state is a definite advantage for Clinton within these caucus systems. She knows how the system works because of her 2008 primary experience. And she's got "friendlies" within the system to help her gain advantage.
This happened in my County Convention in Iowa. Sanders supporters are young and many are new to politics, especially local politics. We were kept at our convention for 12 1/2 hours. We didn't know what was going on. However, the people running it at the top, surely did. They're in power positions. Bernie supporters surely are not. And they use all of that to their advantage.
What I see is that Bernie is fighting back. His supporters are fighting back too. They're not falling for the Clinton schtick. And they're alerting the Bernie campaign when lie-based flyers are disseminated or when other antics happen (like the Bernie Credentials Chair that the Hillary supporters tried to oust). Bernie had lawyers on the ground in NV.
I'm happy to hear that. We could have used a few in Iowa at our County Convention after 117 Hillary delegates didn't show--and our process dragged for 12+ hours.
