(24,979 posts)Krugman was conferred the "The Sveriges Riksbank Prize in Economic Sciences in Memory of Alfred Nobel," established by the Bank of Sweden in 1969, decades after the death of Alfred Nobel, in an effort to confer legitimacy on the discipline of economics as an alleged hard science.
And no, very few cared, outside the ever-declining circle of people who read the New York Times op-ed regulars as if their opinions hold special privilege and cannot be questioned.

(631 posts)as she claims to be the truer Democrat, then she should also believe in transparency. Which means the public has a right to know what promises she has made to her 'investors'. Otherwise, the 'corrupt' label fits well.
