That and his liberal policies is why I am voting for him (I almost said 'progressive' policies, till I remembered)

And it's as bizarre as it sounds. We live in more and more refined capitalism every day, and the first rule of capitalism is: Never pay for something you aren't sure of.

The only people who seem unsure that such an arrangement would work that way are the ones getting paid out of the same pot.

Yes, they are. According to some, she's an angel and is only using the donors to get into office. Once in office, she will turn against them and work for the people.
