I realize this is only one city, but still.

(1,382 posts)The WOW Counties (which are among the reddest counties in the nation) they are projecting over 80 % turnout. They already had close to 30,000 absentee ballots, which was more than Milwaukee or Madison.
I think both sides are going to have record turnouts.
In my small township (which leans conservative) my husband just voted and was #754 which is in line with general election #s. When I voted at8:30 this morning I was 124.

(5,754 posts)I'd knock on some doors, and folks thought he was from Appleton. Yep, but wrong McCarthy. I'd just say, yes, that's him, go vote for him.

(11,605 posts)Glad it didn't happen. But I guess it is harder to take advantage of same day registration now because of the voter id law
