Bernie will appear on the Washington DC ballot after all

Remember when folks here were alleging that there was some kind of Democratic conspiracy to keep Bernie off the Washington DC ballot?

Well, you can put away your tinfoil hats now...

http://thehill.com/blogs/ballot-box/dem-primaries/275224-dc-council-votes-to-put-sanders-on-primary-ballot

The Washington, D.C., Council voted to put Bernie Sanders on the District’s Democratic presidential primary ballot on Tuesday, according to NBC Washington.

The Vermont senator’s name had been left off of primary ballots due to a registration error by the local Democratic Party.

Both Sanders and Democratic front-runner Hillary Clinton filed their registration fees on time, but the party didn’t submit paperwork until the day after the deadline. A voter filed a challenge against Sanders, initially keeping him from being registered alongside Clinton.

D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser, who has endorsed Clinton, said she would sign legislation putting Sanders on the ballot.

It has been pretty clear to me that Sanders would be on the ballot. The Clinton campaign was pushing for this result http://thehill.com/blogs/ballot-box/presidential-races/274822-clinton-campaign-head-put-sanders-on-dc-ballots

Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton’s campaign chairman says Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) should be on the Washington, D.C., ballot.

An administrative error should not keep a candidate off the ballot. Let's get @BernieSanders on the ballot in DC.

... Bernie supporters come and declare that Hillary and the DNC tried to deny Sanders a spot on the ballot, but thanks to the loud protests of Bernie fans, Hillary and the DNC had to back off.

VICTORY!!!!!!!!!!

There is no way he would have been left off that ballot. Those who claimed there was were being silly.
