Related: About this forumHillary’s Support Among Nonwhite Voters Has (Not) Collapsed
Because:
On February 27th, Hillary Clinton led Bernie Sanders among African-American voters by 52 points.
By March 26th, she led Sanders among African-Americans by just nine points.
And today, Public Policy Polling, a widely respected polling organization, released a poll showing that Sanders leads Clinton among African-American voters in Wisconsin by 11 points.

(24,979 posts)Hello? I'm curious why that term, why not other or don't know or whatever it actually means? Are these the people who refuse to answer after taking the rest of the exit poll, and thus did not "instruct" as to their vote?
Also, and again I'm only asking out of curiousity because I do not know and it just occurred to me for the first time. Do exit pollsters ask live people what their race is? They'd have to, right? They don't just go and assign a race based on their visual assessment, do they? (Anyone have experience with this and know to answer?)

(99,711 posts)It was preposterous to suggest a candidate's support among a demographic is collapsing based on a sub-sample of 72 people. That nonsense is what prompted my post.
Oh, congrats to the senator. I am not diminishing his win.
