They are saying that Obama won the debate and 'dominated' overall (David Gergen's words), but Alex C is saying that Romney came across as a 'safe Republican' and moved to the left of Obama to avoid being seen as a war-monger.
He says that perhaps Romney agreed with Obama too much, but that this may help Romney by portraying himself as a moderate Republican who wants peace.
