2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumHillary never said Obama was unqualified either
She simply raved about her qualifications and the qualifications of John McCain and left out Obama with a pointed remark about how all he had was a speech.
She did the same thing this time so don't tell me that she didn't start the qualifications thing.
Watch this Hillary fans, and try to deal with the rotting stench of hypocrisy, delusion and denial.

It reminds me of the Republicans vowing to make PBO a one term president.
Instead we get this...

How can anyone deny her sleazy tactics?

(3,017 posts)Wednesday morning on Morning Joe, citing the NY Daily News (owned by Hillary supporter and Hamptons friend Mort Zuckerman) hit piece, Joe Scarborough asked Hillary "Do you think Bernie Sanders is qualified to be President? Hillary said that other people would have to make that decision for themselves. That is a NO answer, because if you think Yes you obviously just say Yes.
Later that day, on Wolf Blitzer's show, Wolf sat sidelined as Hillary's handpicked interviewer Chris Cuomo cited the NY Daily News hit piece and asked "Do you think Bernie Sanders is qualified to be President. Hilllary gave the same that is for others to decide answer again; in other words, NO.
And of course the Sandy Hook slur on Bernie was a part of both interviews as well.
No mention of either interview of the Wisconsin primary the day before, no mention of Hillary losing 6 of the last 7 by wide margins, no mention of her getting trounced among voters under 45 years old. Every question in both interviews set up Hillary to attack Bernie, the day after her campaign said they were going to disqualify Bernie.
It could not have been more obvious that Hillary's campaign, the New York Daily News, CNN, MSNBC and others coordinated the smear campaign on Bernie to take the Wisconsin primary win, Bernie's momentum, the enthusiastic crowds he's drawing, and his massive fundraising out of the narrative.
Then on Thursday, Bill Clinton goes on a racist rant and by Friday it is a non story in the mainstream media.

(16,631 posts)would be celebrating the succession of primary wins, and they'd be apoplectic about the huge margins; it would be 24/7 about the enthusiasm, the momentum, etc.
instead, it's as if Bernie's phenomenal wins never occurred, combined with the coordinated smear attacks

(11,990 posts)Yup. There's a seemingly constant parade of new events of faux outrage, and "this is going to kill Bernie's campaign", and then it's gone by the next news cycle.
I can just imagine the conversation: "Bill, we had all the media obsessed with the nonsense we wanted them to be obsessed with , why'd you have to go and be a distraction again?"

And she was speaking about President Obama!

(5,208 posts)Hillary represents everything that I abhor about politicians. She tries to deceive by being clever with her language.
This is why I'm so attracted to Bernie. His honest, straightforward manner of speaking is so refreshing.

Bernie is a breath of fresh air.
