What about a graphic of Ann on her horse holding a bayonette dressed in armor

and the caption being something along the lines of

"It takes a woman in the Romney family to be willing to serve the country"

Or "the first Romney family member in three generations able to serve"

What do you think?

The PC have all but destroyed humor along those lines.
Democratic Underground is poorer for it.

Nothing against you or your post, it's just your OP title wording got me to reminiscing.
Peace

Making fun of another DU'er grammar upsets some here. There used to be long threads devoted to the subject of improper sentence structure and the proper use of their, there, they're type words. Now, they degenerate into 'us vs them' arguments, defending the use of bad grammar. You know the old "if you don't agree with me, you must be wrong", put forth by the humor impaired among us.
We are supposed to be more sensitive now and fall in line with the PC, just because they said so.

I'm sure me derailing your OP will bring out the usual suspects. Sorry.

Don't we come here to enjoy the company of fellow liberals? I am a little dyslexic and was in a huge hurry when I posted. Glad others are more on the ball than me.

But the fact that none of the Romneys have ever served the country rubs me the wrong way.

Yes, my mother would have caught that one- I just thought it would be a cute little cartoon.
