2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumLooks like the moved the Pope's visit to Greece to the 16th instead of the 14th and 15th.
Sorry for the mix up.

(27,275 posts)By claiming he would not be there when Bernie attends the conference. I am sure they will come up with something else.

(38,516 posts)OP was fairly caustic (in another thread) about the fact that the Pope wasn't going to be in the Vatican while Bernie was there. Like you say, they'll come up with something else. Another red herring.

Did you just craft that brilliant phrase? May I borrow it?
frylock
(34,825 posts)But it came to me a week or two ago. By all means, you may borrow it at will. Just be sure to top off the tank before you drop it off!

(38,516 posts)He's got 10 years on me, and I get tired just watching him. Dementia is more applicable to those followers of a seriously flawed inevitability.

He looks considerably older than I do..
I DO NOT KNOW HOW HE DOES IT.
But he's fine.

(11,366 posts)Have you met him in person? I was right up next to him and his skin is FLAWLESS. Hardly a wrinkle other than the furrowed brow we all get (before Botox - LOL) and very healthy (he's white, so in his case, his color is a nice shiny pink). In person, he doesn't look as old as he does on TV. Kind of funny, really.

(24,324 posts)And thanks for correcting my a bit off the mark impression...
In person does he have those little 'out-of-control' eyebrow hairs like I do?
The ones I keep having to cut off because they grow faster than the hairs on my head?

(34,825 posts)Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton was often confused," according to a 2013 email from her longtime aide Huma Abedin.
The comment, which is likely to attract attention from Clintons critics on the presidential campaign trail, was revealed on Monday following a Freedom of Information Act lawsuit from conservative legal group Judicial Watch.
In the Jan. 26, 2013, message, Abedin gave the note about Clinton while discussing the secretarys schedule with another Clinton aide, Monica Hanley.
Have you been going over calls with her for tomorrow? Abedin asked Hanley. So she knows [then-Indian Prime Minister Manmohan] singh is at 8?
She was in bed for a nap by the time I heard that she had an 8am call, Hanley responded. Will go over with her.
Very imp to do that, Abedin said in response.
Shes often confused.

(45,319 posts)It's fascinating to me because you went out of your way to make that incorrect claim but in all the many, many posts about Francis going to Lesbos I have not seen a single word about why he's going there. Do you know why?

(5,901 posts)about Jane Sanders going to Lesbos. Whoever that person was is among the crowd that's going to turn off the Hillary base as well as the Bernie base. Talk about bullying and lying and smear - that's the Clintoneers. Hillary better pull them back, but she won't. She's taken to playing the victim card lately. It's so disappointing.
