Bernie's crowd was booing his mention of the NY governor and I don't think he ever said Cuomo's name. When Bernie mentioned the minimum wage battle somebody in the crowd yelled out "Fight for $15!" and Bernie said, "that's right". Bernie said that didn't happen because the governor woke up one day and decided the minimum wage should be $15, it happened because workers made him an offer he couldn't refuse.

She was trying to sell an audience bullshit on a local issue they know a lot better than she does. It was the same crap she tried to peddle at the minimum wage ceremony the other day when she said it happened because he did the hard work. Cuomo was on the record saying $15 was too high and the minimum wage should be $10.50 as recently as September of last year. He only gave in last month because of the strength of the movement. Local people know that stuff. Hillary lives in a bubble. Or maybe she thinks she's the Queen and the plebes are obligated to applaud anything she says.

Did you notice how she smiled, put up her hand and slowly shook her head? It had the smugness of: "now don't even try because that's the way it is, and there's nothing you can do about it." Friendly authority figures do that with protesting underlings. Adults do it with children.

Hillary supporters worship at the alter of politicians and thank them for any table scraps.

She gave the credit to the "hard work" of Governor Cuomo, who was in opposition to it until it became inevitable. I only saw a clip of what Hillary said and don't know if she mentioned the worker's movement or not.

knew perfectly well that she's only in favor of a $12 minimum wage. And was saying it over and over until NY and CA actually passed the $15 one. Now she wants you to think it was her idea in the first place.

REASON FOR ALERT

This post is disruptive, hurtful, rude, insensitive, over-the-top, or otherwise inappropriate.

ALERTER'S COMMENTS

Seriously, this is a GOP video clip (the source: GOP War Room). In the event that anyone is unaware the GOP has been running against Clinto since the primaries started. why are we giving the clicks and space on DU? this is not an appropriate source for DU, nor isit good for DU

Juror #6 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE
Explanation: The video doesn't appear to be doctored, what's the problem alerter. I think the alerter doesn't like the message so shoot the messenger for me. Sorry nothing wrong with this.
Juror #7 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE
Explanation: No explanation given

Thank you very much for participating in our Jury system, and we hope you will be able to participate again in the future.

And it has taken a contribution of between $1 million and $5 million from James Murdoch, son of Rupert Murdoch of Fox News.

So are right wing news sources still off limits since the Clinton Foundation takes money from them?

I don't think the approved media like the NYDN would ever report this story. Since it was actual footage without commentary and editorializing like the approved source, I felt it was worth reporting. It's not like it was awarding pinocchios.

No, I am not a Clinton supporter, I just hate links to right wingers and vote to lock anything being touted from a right wing site, regardless of who or what they are attacking.
