He said that he was out of the country, but got back in time to see the debate. He is a small businessman and was very impressed with how Obama handled himself in the debate. He hadn't had time to follow much of the campaign.

He is happy to have become a citizen some years back, saying America was the easiest country he'd lived in to start and succeed in business because it has a middle class and is very helpful to new small businesses like his. He said many countries, such as his own homeland, only have only two groups in society, just ultra-rich and completely poor, no mobility at all.

He had already decided to vote the straight Democratic ticket, but didn't know in some cases the way they were described, who was. Because some of the GOP are trying to run under cover. Some of the initiatives had him confused with their language. Not because of any lack of intelligence or fluency, but they are often written to be confusing, if not outright deceptive.

He also didn't know the players and what they were up to, as he works almost all the time. I helped him with some, then had to get going. So I know we got some votes in the Democratic column today and I will be helping some other people to get their ballots done and filled out by the end of the week to be mailed.

So that is my bit of real world, good news...
