Think BLM hasn't made a difference?

Candidates for president are no longer pandering as tough on crime. They're pandering on addressing racial inequality in our criminal justice system.

The politicians didn't change. The ground moved underneath their feet.

but as far as I am able to judge, they will have to keep
it up. They also need to put a very large effort into
each state, where laws and police behavior are at the
root of a lot of their reasons.

The candidates can say anything, but most complaints
and grievances come actually about policy and action
from the individual states.

New York and California doing it made it a national issue.

The minimum wage campaign began long before Sanders ran for president.

It was an actual movement.

Yes, many of us have been talking about a livable minimum wage for YEARS, and normally the conventional wisdom poobahs would sneer and dismiss it, much the way they still laugh off the silly radicals who argue that the government should have better shit to do with our tax dollars than filling prisons with millions of pot smokers.

Bernie never did nor would he since he's been outspoken about the inequalities of the criminal justice system for decades.

“So I did something yesterday in Philadelphia. I almost want to apologize for it, but I want to use it as an example of the danger threatening our country,” the former president continued.

Like he's gonna NOT apologize to sort of teach us a lesson.

Or something.

without winning the white vote(and he lost white women also).

even when they do address crime it will be different from the usual way in which it's more about making white people feel better.

the dem party base being black/hispanic .

blm was very effective in using these changes for the better and in a way which will actually be influential .
