And this particular question rates very high at the end of most elections.

of who goes on to win and the numbers do not change once a candidate passes a threshold of negativity. If Trump does win the nomination you can count on Hillary's negatives rising.

Sanders supporters will say one thing now but most will vote for her later. I think we need to take such mid-primary poll results with a grain of salt.

the Independents, and if any at all, only a handful of the younger voters that WOULD vote for Sanders on both counts would show up and vote for her.

The partly right part I agree with, but the loyal Democrats that will vote for her anyway, is about 1/3rd of the people she would need to win, the partly wrong part of your assumptions (which by the way you say as if they are facts rather than assumptions showing much arrogance in doing so) are going to hurt us very badly.

That was not a poll of just Democrats, ignore that at your own peril (and unfortunately the peril of the rest of us Democrats)

It is one thing for people to say that about someone who has decent net favorability rating like Obama did....

A whole nother ball game to say that for someone whose net favorability is at -14 and growing. This should be causing alarm bells to go off ring a ding a lingy!

Our resident republicans who are doing their best to not only convince the Bernie crowd to not vote for Hillary, but now are promoting that Bernie run as an independent. Sadly some here have fallen for their bullshit and are spewing the same right wing talking points on a daily basis.

I will be glad when the trolls leave and we don't see them again till the next election!

I see dirty tricks in the future, and people do not like it.
FBI, Panama Papers(?), negative ads, the inability to present
her position on issues. All these things will turn people away.

meanwhile, bernie at 37, that is just a nudge over the percentage (30) of diehard republicans.

and yet the party elites want hillary. its almost like they want to lose....

They are used to being in control of dem voters and they rigged the system so well with their 33 states in on it, etc, and even against the biggest clown car ever with the "most qualified" candidate who should also get 100% of dem women's votes... Here they are with these poll numbers...not so much.

we were gonna win and win big because of their brilliant leadership, and if we lost it was the lefties' fault

they've been able to maintain the cycle of delusion and blaming everyone but themselves until we lost 11 Governors, 13 Senators, 69 Reps, and 913 state seats

Hill in a cakewalk or any Republican would have allowed them to continue their reign of evil.
No one anticipated Bernie... and no one expected Trump to stay in till the end.
Trump is the unknown factor. He will not play ball with Republicans and
no one knows how he would break once in office.
