Hillary and deBlasio engage in horrific racist joke at private event Saturday

http://thebernreport.com/hillary-clinton-and-bill-racist-joke/

Hillary Clinton and Bill de Blasio did a racist joke at a charity event in New York this past Saturday 4/9/2016. The Inner Circle event is a charity event where City Hall and local parody journalists get together and poke fun at each other. During the event a skit was done that apparently was supposed to be a spin off the Broadway play Hamilton.

It was atrocious on multiple levels. Hillary tried to make light of her embarrassing gotcha moment (directed at Bernie) that backfired. (If you missed it, she had difficulty getting onto the subway with a metro card). And Bill de Blasio tried his hand at being a rapper… Then, miraculously, it actually got worse.

The real kicker, the grand joke of this whole unpleasant skit, was a moment that will go down in history as one of the dumbest political moves of the 2016 presidential race. Possibly history. If you thought the scream of Howard Dean was bad. You ain’t seen nothing yet. These privileged fools decided to make a “Colored People” joke….. Yeah you heard me right. A joke directed at the very people Hillary Clinton has been touting as her firewall during this entire primary season.

Racist, mind boggling, enraging, and just plain degrading are a few phrases that come to mind. After being majorly responsible for the continued imprisonment and disenfranchisement of African Americans all across the U.S., this brilliant presidential candidate decided that now was a good time to step on the “little people” just a little bit more. The awkwardness of the whole scene was palpable. In fact you can hear silence rush over the crowd as Bill explains why he was late in endorsing Hillary.

It was because he was on quote, “C.P. time” (Colored People time), as he looks over at the man that is apparently in on the joke…. (that is a whole other rant that I will spare you). Then Hillary redirects and says that “C.P. time” stands for “Cautious Politicians time”.

I think this is what it looks like: a desperate attempt by Sanders supporters to make HRC and the mayor of NYC out to be racists. and other than far right and far left fever swamp sources, the issue doesn't seem to getting much traction.

I don't know the man. I don't know how often he makes "jokes" about his kids being shiftless, or if he laughingly calls his wife uppity if she stands up to him. Maybe this was the only time he's ever said anything like this.

That doesn't make the comment less racist... or more defensible, which is what you're trying desperately to do. You seem to think that if he's not a VIRULENT racist -- which he can't possibly be since he has a black friend wife -- referring to "colored people time" is not a racist thing to say.

pretty careless of M. de Blasio, probably hurt his own career more than HRC's.
