(94,599 posts)About 30 minutes to JFK at 11 PM; charter jet leaving as soon as he boards (no baggage check); 8 hour flight (less if tail winds). Lands at 1 PM; probably gets VIP immigration clearance; 30-40 min to Vatican; he should be there 2:30-3:00.
geek tragedy
(68,868 posts)if it's only 8 hours then he's there at 2:00 PM not 1:00 PM--6 hour time difference + 8 hour flight =14 hour difference between local time of departure and local time of landing.
I imagine they could probably ask "Coffee Break" to reschedule if he's running late.

We don't have to stick to just sports. It works with any rivals. You could do dogs and cats, Republicans and democrats. Pope and anti-pope. -
I'm not sure the Pope has a natural enemy.
How about a bobcat?
Hmm. I don't think so.
If you have a bobcat, you know he's going after a pope if he has the chance.

(14,177 posts)I am very impressed with Bernie's clout now. All he has to do to get a sit down with the Pope is give em the side eye. If Bernie is elected we will have world peace and everyone gets a pony and rainbows will happen everyday even without rain.

She needs Bernie supporters in the fall or she will lose. Bad enough I have to plug my nose and vote for her.
