Bishop spills on who initiated Sanders' Rome conference 'invite'

Alan Kestrel ?@AlanKestrel750 20h20 hours ago
Sorondo repeatedly refrained from saying who contacted who first. Until now. From April 8th. http://www.bloomberg.com/politics/articles/2016-04-08/sanders-accused-of-discourtesy-in-seeking-vatican-invitation

Sorondo commenting to CNN stating Sanders reached out to Vatican first and invitation is of course not endorsement

How the DNC Helps Clinton Buy Off Superdelegates
As floodgates open to donations from special interests, the future of the party is auctioned to the highest bidder

In a giant step backwards in eliminating special interests in Washington, the Democratic National Committee overturned a ban introduced by Barack Obama in 2008 restricting donations from federal lobbyists and super PACs. Unfortunately for Bernie Sanders’ supporters—who take pride in the Democratic presidential candidate’s refusal to accept funds from super PACs—the decision disproportionately benefits Hillary Clinton, as she is the only Democratic presidential candidate taking such donations.

Well, we know who they and Hillary will be representing after they get in office.

25. Kerry breaks record for miles traveled by secretary of state
Mon Apr 11, 2016, 01:45 PM
Apr 2016

MANAMA, Bahrain — John Kerry is now the most traveled secretary of state in U.S. history, breaking the record as he arrived in the Middle East kingdom of Bahrain on Wednesday.

The trip pushed Kerry past 1.06 million miles as America’s top diplomat, narrowly beating Condoleezza Rice by about 1,000 miles. Rice, who was secretary of state under President George W. Bush, held the previous mark with 1.059 million miles.

Kerry eclipsed Hillary Clinton’s mileage tally in December.

Making the invitation was a bad move in the first place; Europe is particularly sensitive about staying out of US politics.

Taking it back now would be a huge slap in the face for Sanders.

The was a stupid stunt by the Sanders clan (Jeffrey Sachs, it seems).
