Heads Up!.. MSNBC has Interview with Jane Sanders on "All Due Respect"

Last edited Mon Apr 11, 2016, 09:21 PM - Edit history (1)

Please watch ...the whole show was very good. I just watched it on Bloomberg. Even has "Bernie Birds" flying!

Roku or other Non Cable Users who have "Bloomberg Business" access (free) can catch the repeat "All Due Respect" Show anytime there. The show (for this episode) has Mark Halperin and Campbell Brown interviewing. Brown is married to Repub Dan Senor and she used to be a Cable TV Reporter--but, she was surprisingly fair in this show which really featured Bernie for a good part of it and she and Mark interviewed Jane....nicely. Which means..better than Rachel Maddow or the lack of interviews with Jane by any other Media Sources that I've seen

Video is up at this Link:

I watch it on my Roku with the Bloomberg Ap...so there really isn't a link and MSNBC carries them at 6:00 est but, they don't seem to have a link online to the show.

They both put out Videos on YT..so when I find it will post here in V&MM.

I tried to find WADR on MSNBC's Online site but there was nothing there. They are getting the show on loan from Bloomberg so I guess they don't advertise it.

Here's the Online Bloomberg where you should be able to watch when they update.

"With All Due Respect" on Bloomberg Politics.

They don't have Today's Episode 4/11 up yet, though....

13. I can't say I recommend their show to Left Progressives..but, I do watch it..

Halperin and Heilliman wrote the Book "Game Change" about the 2008 Election and got famous over it. Halperin is Marty Halperin's son. Marty was investigated by the FBI during the McCarthy Witch Hunts. I think he worked for the New Republic at one time. Famous Liberal back when. I've never figured out whether the Son, Mark, is a liberal as his father was, though.

They have been on the Campaign Trail with all the candidates and I find them an easier watch than the Media Whores on the Cables. We keep a Basic Cable..but, mostly use Roku for everything and online for whatever Roku doesn't have.

They have been better to Bernie than the Cables (not saying much...but still)...and I watch it on the Bloomberg Ap.

6. During the interview, Mark said that he hears that Jane is the family CPA

Jane laughed and said that she uses "Turbo Tax". She said that she hasn't had time to release their tax returns because she hasn't been home in a month. She has to wait until she has time to go home and find them.

Here's a handy link for her:

8. I saw it, wouldn't go out of my way to find it if you didn't

I found the questioning pretty awful, as usual somewhat adversarial and trivial (when will you report your tax returns, would you accept it if Donald Trump said there would be nothing in them surprising, will you release the entire return, how many years will you go back, oh you did disclose them when Bernie ran for the Senate?). There was the unqualified/qualified flap, what about the Melania Trump vs. Heidi Cruz thing, what role do you play in the campaign, etc.

Jane is well spoken, polite and does as good a job as possible, but there is virtually never any news that comes out of any of these interviews with the candidates or with surrogates. It's always about the horse race and the questioner either probing to try to create a gaffe (if it's Bernie or somebody on his team) or pointing Hillary or her surrogates at Bernie and inviting them to unload.

15. Ahhh...but, what Cable or Network has interviewed Jane Three Times?

When Bernie first ran they interviewed her. No one else bothered until Rachel Maddow (that I am aware of) and Rachel was all over Jane. I think she handles herself very well and love her sense of style.

She did flub a little over the Tax Returns, but I'll give her a break given their schedule. Otherwise, I thought it was a great interview and loved the Bernie bird at the beginning and the flock at the end. Quite unusual for the usual fare on WADR. They have, in their way, been fairer to Bernie than the Cables or Networks...when they cover him. IMHO.

I was lucky enough to see and hear her up close and personal when she was in Anchorage right before our caucus. She was very nice and down-to-earth, and we have noticed that in a couple of recent TV interviews she has worn the handmade earrings that were given to her at the event by a local Tlingit artist. She must have really liked them.

She's been taking a lot of insults on social media apparently. Sad how low some people will stoop.
