I have an idea to speed up this godawful election campaign

Since the GOP has been unable to find even one candidate who is sane and not a dumb clown/bigot we can help them by offering them a way to stop the campaign and still have an election. The Democrats have two excellent candidates, either of whom will be a great leader and make the nation proud. We would simply allow everyone, no matter their party, to vote; whoever gets the most votes would be elected President and the other candidate could be Vice President. The Republicans would be so happy to not have to spend any more of their billions listening to Trump or Cruz or whomever they hate at the moment they would jump at the chance I'm sure. And the whole world would be shouting USA! USA!
