http://jewishinsider.com/7421/hillary-defends-israels-actions-in-gaza/Democratic presidential front-runner Hillary Clinton on Sunday defended Israels right to defend itself after her opponent Bernie Sanders called Israels 2014 military campaign in Gaza disproportionate.
When your soldiers are under attack, you have to respond, Clinton told CNN host Jake Tapper on Sundays State of the Union program. Hamas provokes Israel. They often pretend to have people in civilian garb acting as though they are civilians who are Hamas fighters. Its a very different undertaking for Israel to target those who are targeting them....
Sanders, appearing on the same program, doubled down on his claim that Israels response was disproportionate.
Was Israels response disproportionate? I think it was, Sanders said. Israel has a 100% and no one will fight for that principle more strongly than I will has the right to live in freedom, independently, and in security without having to be subjected to terrorist attacks. But I think that we will not succeed to ever bring peace into that region unless we also treat the Palestinians with dignity and respect, and that is my view.

Those Palestinian kids are "superpredators" who needs to be "brought to heel" by American made Apache choppers and missiles.
After all, they are Muslim terrorists according to our radical righwingers.

(12,606 posts)2. The history of the last Gaza offensive started with the
murder of 3 Israeli teen
The murderers were loosly affiliated with Hamas, and did not have orders from Hamas to abduct and then murder the teens.
The Israeli police suspected that the teens were already dead, and Israel initiated Operation "Brother's Keeper" arresting hundreds of Hamas leaders in the West Bank...not Gaza. 5 Palestinians were killed during this phase of the operation.
The evets that followed, Gazan rocket attacks that hurt hardly anybody and the Israelu response that killed thousands showed the true nature of the conflict: Palestinian life is considered cheap by Israel, PM Netanyahu (aka Bibi the baby killer) and the Amerucan political establishment.
It is easy fir US politicians to look the other way as "their SOBs" in the Mid East murder their way through a population, but usually that dynamic does not last.
Cuba, Nicaragua, Viet Nam, Iran, Iraq and others have priven that. Our democracy is tone deaf and corrupt.

And disagree with Bernie.
