DON'T BE COMPLACENT!!! FREEPERS ARE FOCUSED

The longest threads at FreeRepublic right now show a motivated base!!!

THREAD 1.

Dick Morris: Romney Will Win By a 4-8 Point Margin with over 300 Electoral Votes (Video)

"Whatever Morris says you can bank on it never happening."

Reverse negative motivation Psychology?

THREAD 2.
California surfer killed in shark attack may have been mistaken for prey, experts say

"California = cold water

cold water = wear wet suit

wet suit = looks like seal

seal = dinner"

Is this code? Are they planning election fraud? Have they switched to online homeschooling?

THREAD 3.
End of the road for Volkswagen camper

Um. No comment.

THREAD 4. Richard Mourdock: God at work when rape leads to pregnancy

"OK, there goes the senate. Perhaps the presidency."

Troll?!!!!

THREAD 5.
Are We In the Final Days of Marijuana Prohibition?

"There' a rising tide of acceptance of the fact that people are going to smoke marijuana, and it's like the prohibition against alcohol in the 1930s. There's a recognition that perhaps the laws are causing more harm than the drugs themselves," says Rick Steves, author and travel host.

I really enjoy Rick Steves travel episodes on PBS—and I will admit he certainly has seen far more of the world than I have & most of us here on FR have been able to do so. However- I totally disagree with his position on marijuana.

Wait...Rick Steves?...now I'm completely distracted...

THREAD 5.
From the Desk of Donald Trump: Major Announcement (YouTube)

"Yawn."

Can you feel it? They are on a mission!!! The enthusiasm is palpable. Like my socks in the hamper!!!
So be vigilant!!!

on their own and RUINING them for actual travelers* but, like a broken clock, he is bound to be right some time.

*not to mention that many times the "inside information" he imparts is laughably pathetic in its inaccuracy--- but his audience doesn't know that so they follow his little books and literally become misguided sheep.

The irony there escapes them completely, I'm sure.

I'm pretty sure I'd do the opposite of just about anything Rick Steves advised.

The truth is, some of the Teabaggers may indeed be motivated.....but many ordinary Republicans definitely aren't.
