She helped get money for the 9/11 attacks, but really Schumer took the lead on that Lone_Wolf Apr 2016 #5
So you're saying she was unsuccessful in that endeavor? I thought Shumer was still working on silvershadow Apr 2016 #6
I'm just saying Schumer really took the lead on it. Lone_Wolf Apr 2016 #16
Ok. But again, she actually was not successful in that endeavor, so really she can't take credit. silvershadow Apr 2016 #18

In fact it was a huge part of what she did as Senator.

So I guess you're saying that if Hillary had done nothing else, working to pass Zadroga was enough for her to have served satisfactorily in the Senate for almost 8 years.

And, no, I will not puke up a list of accomplishments if you ask. Save the effort.

That occupied a lot of her bandwidth in her first term.

Enough to win New Yorkers' votes.

The way she tells it now, she makes it sound like she was the lead on it. Realistically, anyone could have done the same thing.

Other than that, I don't know.

The games being played since then with the money is a separate issue.

She was their Senator for 8 years. She has not been so for almost 4 years now. That's quite a stretch to give her any credit. This is a whole new congress. 2 or 3 congresses now from when she was even there. To my knowledge the Secretary of State wouldn't have been involved with getting the 9/11 money. ?

I'm only referring to that time period.

But to your overall question, no, she did very little for us.
