Now there's a new report out that 60,000 democratic votes have vanished as reported by WNYC. And guess where it happened?

Real Strange dealings going on..even before Tuesday.

Voters were -- unbeknownst to most -- stripped of party affiliation when they voted by affidavit ballot after Hurricane Sandy in 2012.
It is outrageous.
Conscientious voters who voted despite being stranded away from home were stripped of party affiliation.

(9,313 posts)“I am so hurt that my right to vote in this primary has been taken from me,” Ocasio-Cortez wrote in a Reddit post explaining her situation.
Ocasio-Cortez was later told by her local Board of Elections that her party affiliation was changed during Hurricane Sandy. The devastating storm hit right before Election Day 2012, and in an emergency measure, Gov. Andrew Cuomo (D) allowed New York residents to vote at any precinct via affidavit ballot. Ocasio-Cortez was stuck in New York City for the storm, so she voted there instead of in Westchester.
“Apparently when I signed that affidavit my party affiliation was waived,” Ocasio-Cortez wrote. “I had no idea I was losing my party status when I did that… Had I known this was the case I would have fixed this ages ago.”
This is outrageous. Conscientious voters who went out of their way to vote even though they were stranded away from home were all stripped of their party affiliation. And I would guess, that like Ocasio-Cortez, had no idea of the implications of signing the affidavit ballot would be.
This explains A LOT!

(8,175 posts)how so many voters registrations are being changed...but this is NOT being caused by Hillary, and I hate to see so many posts come out like this.
It is either errors in the system, or deliberate sabotage of all dems, regardless of this campaign.
I know it's easy to get mad and blame your opponent, but if anyone is guilty of voter disenfranchisement, it is the GOP.
And this part really bothers me:
This is a very short period of time. This couldn't be dems leaving the party to go republican and vote for Trump, could it? If the Gop has switched this many voter registration identities, this has got to be uncovered...and soon.
Or this is a typical number of changes close to big elections (only it seems like it should be going up, not down) and someone is trying to use this as a scare tactic?

I don't know why it's not in the news, but in Nevada or Arizona where it was such a big issue here, it was affecting Hillary voters too.
Why would they disenfranchise their own votes?
