Has anyone figured out how much Bernie's weekend visit to the Vatican cost taxpayers?

The article I read said that he flew overnight after the debate and was accompanied by 10 members of his family. How much more expansive did the Secret Service detail have to be, including extra vehicles, when you have 10 additional members of the family traveling with the Candidate? Delta coach fares for a last minute trip (one week notice) from New York to Rome Italy are $2086 each. I hope he didn't use his Government Credit Card to charge his and his family of ten's tickets in order to get the Government rate on his last minute airfare.

I'm okay with the fact if he charged the Sanders for President Campaign. I can't think of a better use of those 6 million contributors contributions of $27 or less for a weekend junket to Rome to score political points. Hanging out in the hallways of the Vatican City Hotel not knowing who you might run into at 6:00a.m. "Hey Pope Francis. Fancy meeting you here. Jane and I and our 10 members of the family, just stepped out of our hotel room to see whether Jane needed a sweater for our tour of Vatican City before we have to leave for the airport to return to New York."

I think Bernie will do the right thing. How much does it cost the government to deal with both Hillary and Bill? Who cares?

BTW, your post seemed halfway serious until your second paragraph. Right off the fucking rails it went.

Stick around (or not), you have much to learn about credibility.

Or the number of people you put on it?

I've never done it, so I seriously don't know.

I am thinking he would not have used anyone else's money but his own to take his family members other than Jane, cause that's the way he rolls.

I doubt they added extra protection for the kids and Jane...he gets protection as a candidate, but probably not his whole family, until he's actually a President. Otherwise, his whole family would all have protection all the time now, and I don't think it works that way.

How many more of these silly threads are queued up guys? You are making fools of yourselves.

But that's not what he was doing.

BTW, has Clinton ever paid back that little Iowa town that she stiffed on a security bill?
