If you were a Republican, which republican politician would you like to be the nominee?

Pick one.

From the vast field of republican politicians available to you, pick somebody, anybody.

No matter how obscure or little-known.

But he/she must be a Republican and he/she must be moderate enough to siphon at least some democratic voters in the general election.

It is so cool, the way it points out that people with a lack of understanding of the issues rely on physical attacks with no substance. I would do one of those for Hillary too since it is so easy to create strawman attacks, but I actually know the issues and don't want to be called sexist.

This that said I agree with the others, Hillary is the best republican she is more liberal on most all of her views than trump.

That's amazing, Kreskin.

My picture ridicules Sanders as a clown (politically) but makes no comment on his appearance.

Let's get to your other point and play a game: You choose an issue important to you in this election and state exactly why Sanders's position on that issue causes you to support him. I'll likewise explain why I support my candidate on that issue. Then, I'll choose an issue, and we'll do the same thing in reverse. That way, you can show everyone my lack of understanding of the issues.

Are you going to step up and put some substance behind your bullshit insult? If so, let's go. You first.

They are very divisive and like your image ad hominem at best. I know why I am voting on Sanders, it has to do with every thing he states in his speeches and in his records on voting. My only area I am not completely on the same boat was his gun vote. I think he was correct about it not being something you can currently sue on, but until the courts rule we could never fully make that claim (and they are still allowing one of the law suits to go through). I have the same issue with Biden being a bit too pro gun for me as well. Hillary is no better, or rather was not better since she morphs to the current trend her voting record WILL change once she is on a national level. Hillary was my first lady in my home state where I grew up, she was on the board in Walmart. Walmart brought money to certain areas of Arkansas to elite people. We gained a bit because our family had direct ties with them. Our state did some things right, but so many things wrong. Whitewater involved one of the banks where I grew up. She claims she is not a natural politician, but she has been a politician depending on how she parses her words since she was in Arkansas (but don't blame her for anything bill did since that is sexist...but do give her any credit they can offer for that same time period). I was for same sex for a long time, well always...Bernie has been too. The fact I can remember some of the things she has said on the issue is not something it is easy for me to get over. I do not like that she is so late to the table, the fact she is pivoting in the primary, and her party is annoyed they have to since they will have to pivot to the left later. Any candidate that pivots is one that does not actually have a real opinion. It is a sign of weakness, and a sign that she will give so much away (she even parsed abortion). I do not like her view on fraking, we don't need to rush to get this fuel to a quick buck (since that is what it is for, quick low yield wells). But more than anything her role in Lybia with google uninstalling the region to mess with Iran? The amount of death she has caused, and the fact she voted for Iraq, I voted for Obama for the fact he did not do it. There is no excuse for that, she voted that way because her opinion is that of what she thinks the common person wants, and after 911 she read a pro-war message and she went for it.

But if you want a stupid image like that, you look as bad as these people...and I do not like these images.

Someone who does not really have a future as a national candidate but may be able to "save" the party's name and image for 2020. A McCain or Romney redux? Or some other old guy who is 'respectable' in republican eyes.

If their convention devolves into picking someone other than Trump, the fracture will be hard to repair by election day. I doubt that any of their politicians who thinks they will have another presidential shot in the future will go for it now.

He is a narcissist and blowhard BUT his whole life is making deals. He has no actual ideology that anyone can identify and is always open to any suggestion that would make him look better. With him in the Oval Office there will be no wars, and probably a world wide pullback of US forces as being too expensive to maintain without money from our allies. The US/Mexico wall will never get built and you will probably see more guest workers coming in.

In other words, there is really no way to know how things will turn out. On the other hand, victims of rape or incest will not be required to carry an unwanted baby to term. Jesus will not sit at his right hand in the White House. And so on and so forth.

Yes, Hillary Clinton Is a Neocon
April 16, 2016

Exclusive: The argument over whether Hillary Clinton is a neocon may have been settled by her hawkish debate performance on Thursday, which followed her Israel-pandering speech before AIPAC, reports Robert Parry.

By Robert Parry

If there were any doubts that Hillary Clinton favors a neoconservative foreign policy, her performance at Thursday’s debate should have laid them to rest. In every meaningful sense, she is a neocon and – if she becomes President – Americans should expect more global tensions and conflicts in pursuit of the neocons’ signature goal of “regime change” in countries that get in their way.

...

btw..Bob Parry is as liberal as you get.
