Related: About this forumPoll: Gay Voters Overwhelmingly Support Hillary Clinton in New York
An informal, unscientific survey conducted this past weekend by gay social app Scruff shows that voters in New York State who plan to head to the polls on Tuesday overwhelmingly support Hillary Clinton for the Democratic presidential nomination. The app has 10 million users worldwide, 250,000 of whom live in New York.
Of the polls nearly 900 respondents, 57% say they intend to vote for Clinton, while Bernie Sanders received 32% of the votes. With only 30 votes, Donald Trump came in fourth place, trailing behind a group of undecided Democrats. Only 52 of the 895 respondents say they are registered Republicans.

(99,710 posts)But anecdotally that is my experience as well...
I have been to three parties since Christmas time where more than half the people attending were glbtq and most of them were for Hillary. They are all Pacific Islanders except for one Hispanic, many of whom are married. I don't know if that has anything to do with it. I am the only white guy. Some were apolitical and could only discuss the race in the most superficial of ways.
I am in Los Angeles.

Oh lordy. I'd try telling you the many things wrong here, but I don't think you'd actually care.

(26,371 posts)This is beyond silly, but it gave you an opportunity to declare that you stand proudly with/for/on/besides/above/beneath something or other, so I guess there's that.
But seriously, maybe you should go to the local bath and quiz the golden shower bottoms on who they're voting for. That would be every bit as worthwhile as this.
