Given the complaints about New York voting, what will happen starting tomorrow?

I'd like to think there'd be a serious effort to change the voting rules, but I'm inclined to go with "nothing".

They passed.

Kinda like Florida 2000 never happened.

Kinda like Ohio 2004 never happened.

A more cynical person might assume that fair elections and voting rights aren't important to them.

as you need more than a few hours to change an entire system. I suggested to one person that they begin with petitions and work with the county board of elections to implement automatic registration and vote by mail balloting. But it will take state by state effort as each individual state sets their own rules for how elections are run. So in light of that, I'm inclined to agree with you. Nothing will be done because most people don't care about anything but the presidential and that is just the icing. Local board elections are even more important, but not sexy like presidential and we have seen how many people have just a low grasp of how the system works.
