Indy Steelworkers Union Endorses Sanders
The Indianapolis Steelworkers Union representing Carrier workers about to lose their jobs to a plant in Mexico has endorsed Senator Bernie Sanders for president.
Our Indianapolis ABC affiliate reports Union President Chuck Jones cited what he called Sanders' decades long fight against trade deals that allow companies like Carrier to ship Indiana jobs to Mexico.
Carrier has become a rallying point for part of the presidential campaign.
