(1,573 posts)...don't show you anything when you feed your ballot in other than it was successfully read. It doesn't tell you WHAT it read. The ballot itself is printed with the candidate and delegate information and you fill in the little circles on the ones you're voting for. This description of the process doesn't sound familiar to me, but maybe someone in the area could describe it?

(1,573 posts)I used to be the party rep a few years back when we would certify the machines prior to an election, so I'm pretty familiar with how they work. At least on the mechanical end, not the programming end.
