(11,605 posts)I accept that Hillary will probably be the nominee. I accepted that a month ago, after Super Tuesday. But I want everyone to get a chance to cast a meaningful vote.

(135,425 posts)That moron who called HRC a whore has already lost his job at the "Courage Foundation." I wouldn't be surprised if his wife is ready to divorce him.
I'm not counting on it, though, nor am I demanding it, so you will probably get your wish. Tad Devine wants his cut of the $27 from the faithful, and he will milk that cash cow until it is bone dry.

(6,960 posts)Now Trump and Cruz can focus all their vitriol on HRC and maybe we'll see that alleged toughness since Bernie's truth telling about her record gave her and her supporters the vapors.
Meanwhile, the marginalized real D/democrats (as in FDR, HST, JFK types), the real progressives can sit back and watch $hillary implode
Chan790
(20,176 posts)Enjoy the show. I hope she has the decency to do it before the convention so we can get someone that isn't Hillary nominated...I'd really hate to lose the White House because Democratic Judas waits too long to meltdown.

Rather than shitstir and encourage his supporters to ramble on about "vapors."
Such a low-rent comment, that. And the $hillary implode remark? That'll get you ts'd, soon enough. Keep it up.
Carolina
(6,960 posts)$hillary unite the party she represents. Afterall, she claims to get things done! And by the way, like it or not, $hillary fits HRC like fraud fits Goldman Sacks (spelling intended)
redstateblues
(10,565 posts)News flash-the Republicans have been doing that for 20 years. She's taken theirs and Bernie's lying campaigns and BTW she beat Bernie by high double digits. He outspent her 2-1 and still lost his home state. Bernie would have no chance if they trained their attack machines on Bernie's past
Carolina
(6,960 posts)the repukes roll out the reams of video footage of $hillary lying, or as she likes to put it 'evolving.'
Then they will revitalize all the old Clinton scandals (e.g. imagine BJ Bill roaming the White House as First Dude), Benghazi ad nauseum, emails and FBI investigations of that slush fund aka the Clinton Foundation, etc

(149,629 posts)His continuing will not weaken Hillary. Historically, a tough primary fight does not weaken the eventual winner.
And he has said he will stay in the race till the Convention. I expect him to do just that.

(32,886 posts)Hillary in 2008 when her deficit was half this much. With proportional allocation you can't make up the delegate difference. He can't accomplish anything else by continuing.

(4,484 posts)I was a Hillary supporter, but then decided to vote for Bernie. So I'm one of those rare Bernie supporters who also supports and admires Hillary even if she isn't my first choice.
What I would like to see is for Bernie to continue to run but to dial back the rhetoric that might damage Hillary in case she is the nominee. I would like Bernie to focus on what makes his ideas great and hopefully help to continue moving Hillary to the left.
I am hoping that is what he will decide to do.
I won't blame him or feel like he let me down if he drops out. That is a personal decision that I know would only be made if he truly felt it was the best thing to do. However, if he decided not to at least continue to be a vocal lion for the democratic party and a promulgator of the ideas he has placed on the table... then, I will like he has let down some of what he has achieved. He has helped push Hillary farther left than I thought possible and I hope he continues to advocate for things that the far left believes in.
lovemydog
(11,833 posts)I too respect him very much for the positive ideas that he and his supporters have pushed and will continue to advocate.
The negative stuff against Hillary turns me off. I hope if he stays in the race he directs his attacks back toward republicans who are still pushing failed trickle down economics, deporting immigrants and resisting any minimum wage increase.
I hope Sanders supporters, millions of whom are younger, will keep getting involved in the political process and keep fighting to expand opportunities for all, not just the wealthiest.
