Thompson announced this morning he has over $1MM on hand...I'm worried that he's going to pull a "Walker" and bury her with false, misleading, negative ads in the next week.

I've been trying to donate to all the female candidates running this time around.

Anyway, I was just curious is she looked likely to win.

Well, going into this week Baldwin was ahead of Thompson in the majority of polls, and Nate Silver gave her about an 85% chance of winning.

I'm not sure if he's going to lower that in the next Senate update. He usually updates the Senate races on Friday, so we'll see what happens.

I think Thompson should be taking more heat for his son's comments about Kenya, and for his own investments in Iran stocks.

Not being in WI, it's hard to keep up with local races. I'm trying to glean what I can from M$NBC & DU.

Tammy is a good progressive...we need her in DC.

Thompson has been down for a while and is getting desperate so he's been hitting her very hard with a lot of attack ads.

Can WI DEM update us on what's going on?

I know Thompson is claiming she voted against the victims of 9/11 and is soft on Iran etc.

Perhaps it's time to harder on him about the fact that his son has been caught TWICE on video saying he wants to send Obama back to Kenya.

Basically what happened was that he forced a lot of Dems to either vote or not vote on a bill that honored the 9/11 folks but attached something really atrocious to it (this happened in '06 I think) so Dems would vote against it and then he (and other WI repubs) could use it against the competitors in the next race.

she could for ads so Thompson doesn't bury her in untrue evil ads from all those extreme PACs. She's ahead so far but it's been shrinking again and some of the ads are just shrill and cheap looking that Thompson has had on so far.
