The Pledged Delegate total isn't worth the time it takes to total it because

they have been "won" in a rigged, corrupt system.

The two main reasons it was rigged/corrupt:

1. The superdelegate total has been reported and used for months to discourage Bernie voters.

2. The sanctity of the voting process has been violated in state after state after state, thus no reliance can be placed on the totals (unless you want to condone what you complained about the Republicans doing).

There is a reason they are beating the Trump delegate drum for him and once again it doesn't just benefit Trump. I gotta tell ya, the amount of coincidences this cycle is simply AMAZING.

Voting problems, when they existed, affected ALL candidates, not just Bernie.

10. Supers not only discouraged Bernie voters, but got some people to vote for HRC in their primaries.

A lot of people are bandwagon voters. They want to vote for the "winner". They want to support the winning team in sports...

This is why the media has handled the Democratic primary in the manner it has throughout the whole process.

Many people voted for HRC because she was already deemed the winner. "BERNIE HAS NO CHANCE!!"

That script could not have been run repeatedly without the existence of the superdelegates corrupting our primary process.

If we don't DEMAND their elimination at the Convention (amongst other demands), we are fools. We'll have some power even if Bernie loses through a heavily rigged and corrupt process.

It's time to clean things up.

13. Voting processes must be reformed as well.

In regards to superdelegates, they will ALWAYS shoot down any truly progressive candidate in favor of the corporate-approved one.

So, if we don't eliminate them, the media will get to do this all over again, and I have no doubt that the progressive candidate will "lose" again (should Bernie lose to HRC this time). The corporate-approved candidate will get crowned prematurely by the media, and that candidate will benefit when all of the bandwagon voters turn out to vote for him/her.

Getting rid of superdelegates and eliminating computer voting are but two of many big changes we need to organize and fight for.

It's more important than supporting any one particular candidate at this time because this same system will ensure that we never get the progressive candidate that we need to reform the Democratic Party and to truly change the course our nation has been on.

I never believed they would let Bernie win. I continue to believe they don't have to assassinate Bernie. They just have to steal his votes. And, I believe they probably have. Exit polling continues to paint a very different picture in states that HRC handily beats Bernie (when computers count votes).

Same day registration and open primaries are another thing we need to work to implement. The two political parties have very little support amongst the broad electorate (and that is their own faults). We need to have a free and open democracy that allows for people to vote for and support the candidate they LIKE no matter what their current status might be.

I hope Bernie supporters rally to change the system after this atrocity of a primary.
