Nader or Gore?

A candidate doesn't stop running for President because they are losing, they stop because losing makes them run out of money. But it’s different for Bernie. Losing just makes his supporters send him more money, so he’s never going to run out. He’ll probably keep campaigning right up until the first ballot at the convention, and if he’s got the dough there’s no reason for him not to.

So the question is, who does he want to be? Does he go out like Gore, who moved on, kept at his message and built a movement, and is honored and respected worldwide? Or will he continue to run negatively, bringing down Hillary Clinton and be thought of in the same way as Ralph Nader?

I know that there will be a lot of, “you can’t blame Bernie if she loses,” responses to this, but that’s not how it works. If he keeps campaigning like he’s been campaigning, and if she loses then he will be mentioned in the same breath as Ralph Nader for the rest of his career. Whether it’s true or not, that’s how it will play out. Do you think he’ll be ok with that?

He has a long list of anti-democratic party statements to live up to.

by preserving his legacy it means he "sells out". So it will really depend on what he can derive from HRC going forward.

My guess is she's so annoyed with him, she won't offer enough to satisfy his desire to do good.

I have no doubt that excuses would abound, but responsibility is on the nominee.

But I don't think she would lose.

is happening in this election. Bernie is a Senator and will still be a Senator if he is elected. He is also known around the world as a leader for justice and peace. As to running negative - he talks issues and he will continue to talk issues.

Hillary will not like everything he does in Senate because he will still be working toward his goals. But then that seems to be the way things work in our government.
