In 2008, did Hillary ease up her attacks on Obama after she lost North Carolina?

I saw this quote in the Washington Post and I was curious about it:

“In 2008 after Hillary lost North Carolina, she made it clear that our days of attacking Obama were behind us and that we were not to do anything that would make it more difficult for Obama to win a general election,” said Democratic pollster Geoff Garin, who was then a member of Clinton’s campaign team and now serves as an adviser to Priorities USA, the pro-Clinton super PAC. “She saw the thing through but refrained from criticisms of Obama that would leave a lasting mark.”

I don't recall her easing up on the attacks in the last month of the primaries, but I can't recall a particularly vicious attack made during that time either.

I am curious if this is legit or a bit of revisionist history to encourage Sanders to tone it down now.

May 8, 2008 In an interview with USA Today, Clinton says that “Sen. Obama’s support among working, hard-working Americans, white Americans is weakening.”

On May 23, she was looking forward to Obama being assassinated in June.

The California Dem primary in 2008 was on Feb 5. This year it's not until June 7! Expecting Sanders not to campaign hard all the way to the CA primary is crazy.

I remember making a button that said "hard working white person for Obama", but I can't find it now!
