Heard on MSNBC. Sorry, but that horse has left the barn. Bernie showed his true colors and voters don't like what they see. He's now heading toward Hillary landslides next Tuesday.

(110,159 posts)Now, and he cannot pretend it all didn't happen. Start by dropping his frivolous lawsuits wasting Democratic money and time and efforts.

(30,481 posts)The highly unethical and real low-life Weaver really led them astray. It's useless if they don't remove Weaver from everything not related to money grabs. And I doubt Devine is an innocent by-standard in the extreme negativity and dishonesty coming out of the Sanders campaign.

(99,710 posts)Prior to supporting Bernie he supported establishment candidates and was part of the cabal that launched all sorts of personal attacks on Gary Hart to thwart his insurgent campaign against Walter Mondale in 1984.
He's all about the Benjamins.

He sees the writing on the wall, that the base of the DNC isn't straight white males any longer ...

(146,317 posts)the path is disappearing, in part due to their strategy.
I don't know Bernie Sanders, so I can't predict what his reaction to that knowledge might be. He seems to be a hard-headed, no-nonsense sort of person. Those are good attributes, but can cause serious problems in public life.
I also think his knowledge of politics at the national level is very limited. The people who are advising him, though, should know better. He may not really be qualified to plan strategy for a presidential election. I'm sure now that his main staff leaders aren't either.
Presidential campaigns are delicate things to manage.

(11,605 posts)As a volunteer, I felt that his campaign in NY was too disorganized and he needs a stronger ground game. I also think he should go back to the positive message he has had for most of the campaign.

(13,340 posts)My wife has been a Bernie supporter for the last 3 months. Bernie's insistence on personally attacking Clinton has made her seriously reconsider her support. I think how she votes in a couple weeks will depend on what he decides to do now.
Impedimentus
(898 posts)She will be a disaster for the Democratic party in November if she secures the nomination. If Hillary had one iota of integrity, if she cares at all about the country she should do the RIGHT thing and withdraw.
