They are very aligned. Both quite liberal. I'd love seeing Franken on the campaign trail riffing and getting people laughing. He's serious about his work, but knows when to crack a joke to break tension. I think that would be pretty effective.

out, and that he was the epitome of a corporate friendly Democrat.

Nothing since has changed my mind about this, and while I would much rather he be that and be a Democrat as in I know he is good on social issues, I think we need more progressive policies in the future.

The lower middle class and poor simply arent going to tolerate the income inequality forever, dont you think?

Musts:

1. Young enough to run in 8 years
2. NOT from the Senate, as we can't afford to lose any Dem Senators
3. Will energise supporters

Preferences:
1. Someone who balances the ticket geographically - from the west, Midwest, or southwest.

You highlight what a crap job the DNC has done of building the party. We've got no one who both fits that bill and is actually qualified to step into the presidency at a moment's notice, which the VP needs to be. We're very weak on non-sextigenarian leadership -- much weaker than the GOP.

I do know it won't be Sanders or Elizabeth Warren....If Bernie can't win the nomination than the Dems really need him in the senate for those critical votes....So I think she better tread carefully.......

However, I think if Bernie stays in to the end to keep his movement going even if he loses....and perhaps retire. I hope not. He is a breath of fresh air......

She would be POTUS so could curb Kasich's "wild side", while Kasich would rake in all those moderate Republican votes, which together with Clinton's moderate Democratic votes would sweep the USA.

It would be heaven for moderates of all walks of life and there would be peace on earth and good will toward all humankind.

I'd love to see Elizabeth Warren picked, but two women on the bill might be an issue for a future run (voters who think "we've already had a woman, lets try something different". Dumb, but possible).

Feingold is seasoned, smart, likable, and liberal!

He's also available! He needs a job!
