When asked to comment about Single-Payer in Vermont coming up short,

Bernie replied, "I'm not the governor." He tried to become the governor years back, but came up short.

I think Bernie's True Progressives should migrate to Vermont and make him the governor. Institute their vision. Become the antithesis to Brownbackistan.

While all the rest of us saps follow Hillary Lannister to Democracy's funeral and dance.

Cynical outlook on the death rolls of what once resembled a democracy...

The Great American Bullshit Story comes home to roost with an alternative ending.

I will hold the champagne ready an pop the bottle when the death dance starts from afar...From a safe place far away I will be in one of those Utopian societies that Bernie talks about, that Hillary says don't exist and impossible to achieve in the land of of the "free."
I get healthcare. I have a place to live. Food on my plate. Internet installed, and don't have to worry about some gun nut blowing my brains out the secund I step out the door.
