2016 Already Shows Record Global Temperatures

By TATIANA SCHLOSSBERG (JFK's granddaughter)

APRIL 19, 2016

This year is off to a record-breaking start for global temperatures.

It has been the hottest year to date, with January, February and March each passing marks set in 2015, according to new data from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.

March was also the 11th consecutive month to set a record high for temperatures, which agencies started tracking in the 1800s.

7. No she wasn't -- Obama/Kerry were

Go back and read her response at the Brooklyn debate. She credits Obama - no mention of the SoS who actually did have a lot to do with it ... and obviously hoped that people would then credit her. In fact, there was no much hope in 2012 when Kerry spoke to Obama about wanting to make Climate change as much a signature issue for him as women's issues were for Clinton, he was told that diplomatic progress was unlikely. Kerry spoke to the Chinese negotiators, who he had known for years, on his first visit to China in early 2013. He told Obama they were open to talking -- and Obama approved it. Many people, including Todd Stern, who started under Clinton, played further roles, including Kerry, who invited the Chinese to talks in Boston - hosting them for dinner at his home.

This led to the US/China pact .. which Kerry used to unexpectedly make the interim Lima summit a success. This culminated in the Paris Accord.

Clinton is right -- that was an Obama success, but it really was not something that came out of what happened at Copenhagen, which was considered a failure by most of the environmentalists.

we might have gone over the 2 degree centigrade tipping point already. Once the permafrost starts to melt... it will pretty much be game over for high level chordates. Did I mention that includes humans?

TPP and more wars hasten our destruction.

Voting for Hillary is equal to voting for climate change denying Republicans. The end result is the same. She won't ever be the bold climate change leader we need, "incrementalism" dooms us. Our planet is in its 11th hour...

Madame President will go down as the worst president ever as the planet's catastrophes snowball. She will preside over massive upheaval here and internationally, and her pathetic proposals will go down in history as too little, too late.

I'm in California and we are seeing "severe drought" signs all over even though El Nino has been a help to us. However it cannot make up for 8-10 drought years. We need 7-8 years of El Nino to do that!

We are truly screwed.

Does anyone know anything about desalination and if it is feasible? I know that there is one plant in Marin County (I think - it may be Sonoma) but I heard that it is very expensive. Also would that mess with the ocean? We already have screwed up our marine life as it is.

Former CIA superspoke, Secretary of Defense and former Carlyle Group chairman Frank Carlucci is in the luxury lifeboat business.

The rich have formed supergated supersecret communities. One was going up in Michigan, but I understand it went broke.

Then, there is the seed bank repository on a remote Norwegian isle.

If they're hiding their loot offshore now, do you think they'll be interested in sharing later -- after the stuff hits the fan?
